Hi, I’m Sophie Vu, Vibes’ new CMO. We announced my appointment, as well as the appointment of Bill Scott, our new SVP of International, in a press release today, but for the purposes of this post I wanted to introduce myself, share my perspective on why I joined Vibes, and outline a few of the many reasons I’m excited for what’s ahead.
I’ve been immersed in the world of marketing for 18 years, working for innovative tech companies like Sparkcentral and Kony as well as household names like Symantec, Adobe, Yahoo!, ESPN and Google. We have become the partner of choice for global brands to to engage 1:1 with hyper-connected, mobile consumers at scale, from Chipotle to The Gap to Ford. And it’s not just in North America — with our recent expansion into Europe, beginning in the U.K. market, we’re taking steps to help marketers everywhere connect with consumers on mobile.
Vibes has really been on a tear as of late, but don’t just take my word for it.
Here are several reasons to believe in Vibes:
- Last year, we orchestrated arguably the most successful mobile marketing campaign of all time with Chipotle for its free burrito mobile wallet campaign. 5.3 million offer requests and 3.5 million redemptions redefined what a mobile marketing campaign could be.
- We now handle 37 percent of total U.S. short codes. Needless to say, teens aren’t the only ones texting all day.
- Our customers that can measure incremental revenue recorded 368 percent ROI. Additionally, our largest retail customers collectively generated over $230 million in topline revenue from mobile marketing campaigns in 2016. Both figures go to show that sophisticated mobile marketing programs are making a real impact on the bottom line.
