A Message from Vibes Founders: 2020 Year in Review

It has certainly been an unprecedented year. From a global pandemic, to a new understanding of racial injustice, this year has been like no other. At Vibes, our priority is ensuring the health, wellbeing, and safety of our customers and employees. Reflecting on this year, we are proud of how Vibes managed the uncertainties this year, including:  

 

  • • Transitioning to a fully remote workforce while maintaining high standards for our customers 

  • • Providing all Vibes employees with Anti-Racism training  

  • • Establishing a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion council with an executive in every meeting 

  • • Launching products to better assist customers in navigating this year’s unique challenges: Contactless Curbside Messaging, Improved Cart Recovery and Ecommerce features, and a Salesforce Marketing Cloud integration.  

  • • Texting an incredible 1 in 10 Americans on Thanksgiving Weekend 2020  

  • • Being named a leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for the second year in a row 

 

It has been quite the year for our customers as well. When the going got tough, our customers inspired us by their innovation, creativity and perseverance. Our customers like Ascena, Children’s PlaceRalph Laurenand Chipotle saw some of the highest engagement ever with their mobile programs. We are incredibly proud of our partners and look forward to working together in the new year.  

 

Similarly, we would like to take a moment to thank the adaptability and hard work of our Vibes team members. From their efficient transition to remote working, to the enthusiasm for deeper growth, to their dedication to our customers, we are honored to have an exceptional team. We adapted to completely remote hiring and saw our Vibes team grow exceptionally in 2020. For anyone who knows Vibes, culture is at our core and we are so happy to see our culture flourish when tested in a year like 2020 

 

We have made vast changes to the way we operate over this year. While we hope 2021 is less testing, we by no means will we stop progressing when the new year rolls around. Here are a few agenda items for us in 2021:  

 

  • • Enhance Mobile Identity, the heart of the Vibes Platform, to provide brands the tools they need to send timely and relevant messages that activate consumers 

  • • Increase investments in data science and machine learning to build upon our industry leading, behavior-driven intelligent message automation capabilities 

  • • Lead the industry as the pioneer in leveraging Mobile Wallet as a powerful consumer engagement channel 

  • • Provide brands with the innovation tailwind of prebuilt integrations in the marketing technology ecosystem 

  • • Expand our industry leading data and analytics insights to help brands optimize their mobile program strategies and further refine mobile campaign messaging and targeting 

 

 

While we reflect on all we have faced and all we have accomplished together, we are ending the year with gratitude. We are thankful for our customers, for our employees, for our ability to continue providing premium mobile software and expert guidance, and for our never-ending hope. Thank you for believing and persevering through this year.
