How Vibes is Building to Scale

For the first time ever, 2019 will be the year that consumers spend more time using their mobile devices than watching TV.

Mobile is becoming the leading medium in consumers’ lives; they use mobile to stream content, manage payments and banking, and connect with their friends and family. This connection to mobile leaves an enticing opportunity for brands to build relationships with their consumers in a frictionless way over their mobile devices.

For the last 20 years, Vibes has responded to shifts in mobile in an agile and proactive way, and now we’re helping brands achieve more using mobile marketing channels like SMS & MMS text messaging, mobile wallet, push notifications, and other engagement channels.

One of the exciting ways Vibes is growing during this shift is our international market expansion. New customers have sprouted up across the U.K. and Asia. This expansion brings an additional set of complexities, including alphanumeric short codes and a number of different mobile phone formats, into our roadmap.

Fortunately at Vibes, we operate proactively and foresaw these expansion challenges and designed our systems to be extensible — reducing the workload required to support the expansion.

Along with international growth we recently introduced our AI-Driven Marketing Suite. Artificial Intelligence, or AI, has taken over computing recently, and Vibes is setting a precedent with AI that brings brands immediate value and return on their mobile investments.

Customer needs are incredibly dynamic, which influences everything we build on the Vibes Mobile Engagement Platform. No two customers’ needs are the same, and even an individual customer’s needs change over time. This has driven the Vibes technology team to make changes to stay ahead of the trend.
